Angular Seed Gets Stuck At "loading..." After Adding Router-outlet

Angular seed gets stuck at "Loading..." after adding router-outlet In a new Angular seed application (ng new), the application gets stuck at "Loading..." as soon as I add this to app.component.html: export class AppComponent { constructor(router: Router) { } title = 'app works!';} and things got even weirder. As long as I have the router-outlet tag it's still stuck at "Loading...". As soon as I remove that (but Router is still being injected), I get a blank screen (i.e., not even "Loading..."). import { BrowserModule } from '@angular/platform-browser';import { NgModule } from '@angular/core';import { FormsModule } from '@angular/forms';import { HttpModule } from '@angular/http';import { RouterModule } from '@angular/router';import { AppComponent } from './app.component';@NgModule({ declarations: [ AppComponent ], imports: [ BrowserModule, FormsModule, HttpModule, RouterModule ], providers: [], bootstrap: [AppComponent]})export class AppModule { } import { Component } from '@angular/core';import { Router } from '@angular/router';@Component({ selector: 'app-root', templateUrl: './app.component.html', styleUrls: ['./app.component.css']})export class AppComponent { title = 'app works!';} {{title}} Continue reading >>

Avd Emulator Stuck On Loading Screen In Android Studio

Avd Emulator Stuck On Loading Screen In Android Studio

I decided to try Android Studio 2.0 having used Eclipse in the past but I'm having considerable difficulty getting the AVD to load correctly. I've done quite a bit of googling and research into the problem, both here on SO and Google. So far nothing has worked. The emulator simply hangs on the android load-up screen ever time I try to run it. I've seen it advised to use Genymotion but I would first prefer to resolve the issue natively in Android Studio to feel confident going forward using the IDE for building projects. Complete reinstall of Android, SDK and SDK Tools Install and configure of Intel x86 accelerator Lowered the RAM amount to 512 in AVD settings Multiple attempts at deleting and recreating AVD's Tried creating different AVD phone models(Nexus One,Nexus 5x etc.) Restarting Android Studio multiple times after changes Running SDK/SDK Tools updates several times These are the majority of the "solutions" I found either on other similar SO questions or by googling none of which has resolved the problem. When I run the emulator currently it displays the following in the run window: /Users//Library/Android/sdk/tools/emulator -netdelay none -netspeed full -avd Nexus_5X_API_23Warning: requested ram_size 1024M too big, reduced to 512Memulator: WARNING: Increasing RAM size to 1024MBemulator: WARNING: VM heap size set below hardware specified minimum of 228MBemulator: WARNING: Setting VM heap size to 256MBHax is enabledHax ram_size 0x20000000HAX is working and emulator runs in fast virt mode.console on port 5554, ADB on port 5555 The emulator shows up fine in the Android AVD Monitor devices pane and even appears to go through the entire booting process on the emulator screen itself but never gets to the Android home screen. Also, Logcat seems to be looping con Continue reading >>

Bitcoin Core Version 0.13.0 Released 23 August 2016

Bitcoin Core Version 0.13.0 Released 23 August 2016

This is a new major version release, including new features, various bugfixesand performance improvements, as well as updated translations. Please report bugs using the issue tracker at github: Microsoft ended support for Windows XP on April 8th, 2014 ,an OS initially released in 2001. This means that not even critical securityupdates will be released anymore. Without security updates, using a bitcoinwallet on a XP machine is irresponsible at least. In addition to that, with 0.12.x there have been varied reports of Bitcoin Corerandomly crashing on Windows XP. It is not clear what the source of these crashes is, but it is likely that upstreamlibraries such as Qt are no longer being tested on XP. We do not have time nor resources to provide support for an OS that isend-of-life. From 0.13.0 on, Windows XP is no longer supported. Users aresuggested to upgrade to a newer verion of Windows, or install an alternative OSthat is supported. No attempt is made to prevent installing or running the software on Windows XP,you can still do so at your own risk, but do not expect it to work: do notreport issues about Windows XP to the issue tracker. As a result of growth of the UTXO set, performance with the prior defaultdatabase cache of 100 MiB has suffered. For this reason the default was changed to 300 MiB in this release. For nodes on low-memory systems, the database cache can be changed back to100 MiB (or to another value) by either: Changing it in the GUI under Options Size of database cache Note that the database cache setting has the most performance impactduring initial sync of a node, and when catching up after downtime. The RPC command line client gained a new argument, -stdinto read extra arguments from standard input, one per line until EOF/Ctrl-D.For example: $ src/bitcoi Continue reading >>

Stuck Loading Qt (at Rescanning 100%)

Stuck Loading Qt (at Rescanning 100%)

So I recently had to force quit bitcoin-qt on my mac, and since doing that I can no longer get it to load to the main screen. Just gets stuck at Rescanning 100% where I then have to force quit again. How do I go about fixing this? Shall I just delete the last block? Try backing up everything in the folder with your blockchain, then delete everything EXCEPT the wallet and blockchain files. It might have to rescan again, but it should finish this time. It is most likely stuck because of a conflict between the blockchain and your other data files. Any time you crash, force quit, or run out of disk space (stopping blockchain download), this kind of conflict can happen. 5 Steps To Install Bitcoin-qt Faster - Bitcoin-en.com

5 Steps To Install Bitcoin-qt Faster - Bitcoin-en.com

5 Steps to Install and Set Up Bitcoin-Qt (now Bitcoin Core) Faster As of Bitcoin Core version (formerly Bitcoin-Qt) 0.10.0 and later, the block chain bootstrap torrent is *slower* than a direct download using the bitcoin P2P protocol & client. If you want the torrent for other reasons, please visit: To download the latest version of Bitcoin Core, please visit: Since release v0.14.0 , Bitcoin Core furtherimproves on validation speed and network propagation performance, supports pruning the blockchain, leading to much shorter sync and initial block download times. The biggest pain point of using Bitcoin-Qt( Bitcoin Core )prior to v 0.10as your wallet is it takes forever to sync to get the complete block chain. A fully functioning node must have the Bitcoin-Qt ( Bitcoin Core ) client on a machine instance with the complete block chain.Note that this speed-up tip will no longer be necessary for Bitcoin Core version 0.10 (click here for Bitcoin Core version history) and above because blockchain syncing will be parallelized across multiple peers and and will be faster than the approach mentioned here. Please make sure the software is running from a computer with SSD (solid state drive), not HDD (hard drive) as the disk-intensive operations will be slow to death if you're not using SSD when you launch Bitcoin-Qt for the first time. Applicable to Bitcoin Core prior to v 0.10, this article is a how-to guide about setting up a full bitcoin node by installing Bitcoin-Qt (now a.k.a. Bitcoin Core) on a Mac using slightly faster approaches broken down as follows: Give higher CPU priority to Bitcoin-Qt process Wait for Bitcoin-Qt catch up synchronization Since version 0.9, Bitcoin-Qt was renamed to Bitcoin Core to reduce confusion between Bitcoin-the-network and Bitcoin-the-software. Version 15.0.1 Hangs When

Version 15.0.1 Hangs When "done Loading" Windows 10 64bit

version 15.0.1 hangs when "done Loading" windows 10 64bit I downloaded the latest version of bitcoin core version 15.0.1 and have been syncing the blockchain for the past 2 days. For some reason every time I start my wallet...the block take FOREVER to verify and then when it says "Done Loading" all the sudden Bitcoin Core is unresponsive and I have to end the task in task manager in order to do anything...forcing me to go back to an earlier version. I am running windows 10 64 bit with AMD 6core 3.6GHZ processor and 32 GB of RAM but using a 1TB external HDD...never had problems putting the blockchain on external drives before and using wallets on external drive has been great until now...I usually use External SSD's though...my HDD is a brand new one and was working fine at first...I sysnced up to just under 2 years left and it just hangs every time it is "done Loading"and other programs work fine on it as well so it must be bitcoin-qt...I just start with a batch file telling bitcoin to use the data folder I made as the data directory like always...surely the external drive has nothing do do with it because earlier version work fine...using version 15.0 on the same drive after deleting 15.0.1 just fine and the blocks don't take forever to verify either PLEASE FIX THIS!!! Or help me fix what I am doing wrong....Thanks in advance Please post your debug.log file and screenshots of the issue. During the entire loading phase, Bitcoin Core is doing a lot of computation. It is not surprising that it goes unresponsive and windows things that it has died. Instead of killing the process, let it keep running even when it is unresponsive. Kill it if it doesn't become responsive after a while (a while being several tens of minutes). Please don't make posts just shouting "Please fix Continue reading >>

Windows 8 Stuck At Loading Screen When Booting - Black Screen When Repairing

Windows 8 Stuck At Loading Screen When Booting - Black Screen When Repairing

Windows 8 stuck at loading screen when booting - black screen when repairing My Windows 8 installation is currently refusing to boot up correctly. It appears to be stuck on the screen with the Windows logo and spinning circle. The circle continues to spin but does not do anything - even after waiting for hours. After rebooting multiple times, it tries to perform an automatic repair. This eventually displays a black screen with a movable mouse cursor in a low resolution, but nothing else appears, again after waiting for multiple hours. I have tried hitting F8 to try to get into Safe mode, but it tries to do the automatic repair and I never get any option to boot into safe mode. I have tried Shift-F8 as well with no result. I have also tried booting from the installation disc. This gets me to the point where I can select "Repair your computer", but this ends up with a blue screen with movable mouse cursor as above. As a result, I cannot boot into Windows at all, and I cannot currently perform a refresh/reset. I've run a memory test overnight, but there doesn't appear to be any errors. Windows is installed on an SSD and I have two other hard disks attached. System is a Core 2 Duo in an Asus motherboard (will add model when I remember it) with 8G of RAM, Geforce 460. It's possible that there was an update installed before I rebooted, but since it happens automatically, I'm not sure. I would prefer not to have to reinstall Windows. Are they any further steps to take to diagnose/fix this issue? Continue reading >>

Compile Bitcoin Core on Raspberry Pi (Raspbian) If you want to run a full node on the Bitcoin network, you might want to do so on a computer that doesn't use so much power and is very inexpensive. The Raspberry Pi might seem as an obvious choice for that. Here's a tutorial on how to install the newest version of Bitcoin Core on the Raspbian OS, which is based on the Debian GNU/Linux distribution. If you have used Debian or Ubuntu Linux, you'll find many things familiar about Raspbian. The Raspbian repositories currently contain a very old version of the original Bitcoin client, Bitcoin Core. And in fact, only the text based back-end, bitcoind, not the graphical front-end bitcoinqt. It is, however, possible to compile the newest version of Bitcoin Core yourself. This process takes a while, but most of the time the system spends on its own while you needn't intervene. To follow this tutorial, basic Linux/Unix command line experience is recommended, but probably not a requirement. Here be dragons! Note that Bitcoin technology is generally experimental, and so is this tutorial, so don't use any significant amount of BTC with any system that you setup while following this tutorial. Also note that the relatively weak system that forms a Raspberry Pi 1 or 2, may or may not be able to handle the task of acting as a Bitcoin node satisfactorily. A Raspberry Pi, model B, rev 2 or model B+. Unfortunately the compiling process needs the 512 MB RAM that these models have, but it may be possible to compile on a 512 MB model, and then move the SD card to a model with 256 MB RAM afterwards. SD card of at least 32 GB (it must be large enough to hold the entire block chain). A clean install of the Raspbian OS on the SD card. Raspbian is a version of Debian Linux for the Pi. How To Clear A Stuck Bitcoin Transaction

How To Clear A Stuck Bitcoin Transaction

A Bitcoin transaction can fail to confirm, or become stuck, for many reasons. Stuck transactions may be confirmed after several days, but sometimes waiting isnt an option. Fortunately, many stuck transactions can be cleared using nothing more than a Web browser. This article shows how. The procedure described here should not be used by beginners trying to clear a stuck transaction of significant value. Doing so can lead to loss of money. This article describes a practical technique for creating and clearing a stuck transaction, but using this technique effectively takes practice and understanding. To get the most out of it, consider following the article as written and only commit a trivial amount of money. If any step describes a concept that doesnt make sense, find a way to understand it. Leave a comment at the bottom of the article. Ask a knowledgeable friend. Post a question to BitcoinBeginners , Bitcoin Subreddit , or Bitcoin Stack Exchange . Whatever happens, be sure you understand, at a high level, the procedure described here before using it to clear a high-value transaction. For demonstration purposes, this guide instructs you to enter a private key into a live Web form. An attacker can intercept this information and steal funds. Private keys should generally only be handled within a safe computing environment. However, given the small amounts of money involved in this demo, the risk is minor. A description of a more secure alternative appears before the conclusions to this post. You can clear a stuck transaction with the method described here whenever you control one or more of its outputs. If you dont control at least one output, the network wont permit you to complete the necessary steps. Fortunately, you will control at least one output in many situations. Continue reading >>
