That's it, you have installed c++ version of ethereum and ethminer included You dont neet to set up account on local, you can mine directly to exchange ethminer -G -F ethminer -G -F IN MHASH]@[ADDRESS]@[OPTIONAL RIG NAME] -G means mining on GPU, if you want try cpu, just do NOT put G Minimal hashrate = 0.01 MHash Please set valid hashrate in mining url, if you set higher, you may not earn anything, if you set too low, pool will adjust diff to avoid share flood(but you may get more stale shares, so keep values real) If you have multiple rigs connected here with the same declared hashrate, for example you have 2rigs x 60mhash, dont put [email protected] please use [email protected] and [email protected] since this parm is not only hashrate but also unique id for each mining address! You should get valid share average one per 2-3mins How does pool calculate revenue for each miner? PPLNS/Time Prop - If time between last mined and previous mined block is longer than 8 minutes then pool will split proportionally between all miners which submitted valid shares depending on their diff. But if time between mined blocks is smaller than 8 minutes, then we will take previous shares from last 8 minutes and split according to diff and number of shares submitted When your balance exceed 0.1 ether. Withdraws are processed once a day. Yes, we are verifying every miner step, we have implemented complex proof of work validation Run ethminer -G -M and result of test divide by 1000000 Contact us if you exprience any bug, or have any doubts or just cant set up your miner. Click support in right top corner! What if i want to mine directly to my local account ? We recommend to you install geth since it's more clear Continue reading >>

How To Mine Ethereum: Complete Beginners Guide

How To Mine Ethereum: Complete Beginners Guide

First you need a computer, or graphics card, that is capable of computing an algorithm that it attempts to solve in order to generate some Ether. For Ethereum, the block that your video cards are attempting to find generates on average every 15 seconds. That means every 15 seconds, the Ethereum network pays to whomever found the block, 5 Ethereum (this value may change over time). It should be noted that at some point in the future, Ethereum will be switching over to proof of stake with their Casper Fork which will mean it can no longer be mined. There are currently many options for Ethereum Miners depending on the type of Video Card, the amount of video cards you want on one motherboard, and the power requirements. 6x Video Cards (Minimum 3GB, 4GB recommended) Best Hash/Price Recommendation: Radeon RX 570 4GB Ethernet cable (do not run wifi), power button for motherboard, fans for cooling With this setup, youd find on average around 0.5Eth per month. This will change depending on the Ethereum Mining Difficulty, you can use the website WhatToMine to make calculations of your earnings or find other profitable coins to mine. It is important to consider the difficulty to measure whether to continue mining Ethereum, or whether to switch to another algorithm or coin to mine. Unfortunately, for someone looking at building just a few mining rigs, they may never find a block solo-mining. Therefore it is necessary to join a mining pool. A mining pool combines the hashrate of all the miners, and vastly increases the chances that the group is able to find a block. This therefore allows you to get a steady payout from the pool, even if you yourself never find a block. There are some choices for Ethereum mining pools which vary depending on how their overall hashrate, the fee struc Continue reading >>

How To Mine Ethereum

Register for the ICOs and Regulation Webinar on March 22nd at 11AM EST Now that you know " How Ethereum Mining Works ", you may want to know how to compete in the race to mine ether yourself. To recap, mining is the glue that holds ethereum's 'decentralized app store' together by ensuring that it comes to consensus on each change to any of the applications (dapps) running on the network. Take the online notebook described in " What is Ethereum? ". The network would not come to consensus about the 'state' of the notebook (say, if a note is added or deleted) without the computational power to process the changes. Miners set computers loose to solve cryptographic puzzles in an attempt to win ether, and they need to try a huge number of computational problems until one unlocks a new batch of the asset. One of the interesting things about open blockchains is that, in theory, anyone can set their computers to focus on these cryptographic puzzles as a way to win rewards. The catch is that mining on major public blockchains tends to require more and more power over time, as more people invest inmore powerful hardware. In this day and age, those mining with low-powered setups are unlikely to win, but it's still a viable past-time for hobbyists and enthusiasts alike. Before getting started, you will need special computer hardware to dedicate full-time to mining. There are two types of mining hardware: CPUs and GPUs. GPUs boast a higher hash rate, meaning they can guess puzzle answers more quickly. At time of writing, GPUs are now the only option for ether miners. Settling on a GPU is a complextask and you can browse plenty of advice about which ones are the most profitable based on hash rate performance, power consumption and the initial expense of the card. You probably want to Continue reading >>

A mining pool can be defined in Awesome Miner and be used from multiple miners. To create a new mining pool, use the button New pool... in the toolbar. Pools can also be created from the Options dialog, Pools section, where they also can be modified and removed. For more information on how to define a single pool in Awesome Miner and use it with unique worker names for multiple miners, please see the guide about Pool worker name configuration . The final section of this guides describes how to define Pool Groups . Configuration according to the LitecoinPool web site. stratum+tcp://litecoinpool.org:3333Username: your_username.1Password: 1 The pool configuration is illustrated in Awesome Miner below. Configuration according to the Nicehash web site. For most algorithms (Ethereum and a few more are exceptions), Nicehash expects your Bitcoin wallet address to be specified as the username/worker name in the Pool configuration. Optionally a unique worker name can be specified after the Bitcoin wallet address. Examples with Claymore Etheruem Dual miner The examples below are for the Claymore Etheruem Dual miner. Please also refer to the Bitcointalk thread about Claymore Etheruem Dual miner , as it contains both a complete description of all parameters for the Claymore miner and many more examples similar to those listed below. How To Connect To An Ethereum Mining Pool?

How To Connect To An Ethereum Mining Pool?

How to connect to an Ethereum mining pool? Ethereum mining is best done by joining a mining pool so that there is a steady stream of Ether's into your wallet and in this guide we will show you a step by step process to do just this. In our "How to Mine Ethereum on a Windows PC" we showed you how to install all the software to get your computer mining with its graphics card and failing that, with its CPU. However this isn't the whole process, as when you mine on your own the chance of finding a block is incredibly small considering the total amount of hashing power in the network - so the best option is to join a mining pool to smooth the volatility of returns - you can read about the benefits of joining a bitcoin or ethereum mining pool here . Step 1: If you have gone through our guide here on how to set up your computer to mine ethereum you are most of the way there - in fact all you need is an address which you can get from the EthDev wallet - which is basically a nice interface to doing exactly the same process. The reason you need a wallet or address is to tell the pool where to pay your money! You don't need to sync the blockchain - the mining pool provider will do this for you! Step 2: Once you have an address you need to start ethminer - and if you haven't installed this you can do so by following the section. 2.1Now you need to download Ethminer which makes your GPU or CPU run the hashing algorithm that is integral to securing the Ethereum network through proof of work. You can download this here and be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the page to get the right version - the latest and most up to date one is right at the end. 2.2 Click on the download and click install. Your firewall can cause issues but just click allow if it does so - the same is true of Continue reading >>

[guide] Setup Your Own Ethereum Mining Pool.

[GUIDE] Setup your own Ethereum mining pool. I have created a guide on how to create your own Ethereum mining pool for a single crypto-currency (not a multipool). I tried to make it as novice friendly as possible and explain every step. All you really need is a very, very basic knowledge of Linux and some patience. I feel like it's important for crypto that more people are capable of running a mining pool, or at least have the knowledge of it. All the software used in the guide is free/open source. I will try and create more guides as time goes on. I will also support the guides I currently have, so feel free to ask any questions pertaining to the guide. Anybody else that is knowledgeable with mining pool software, or linux feel free to help other users. I will check this thread occasionally and try to answer some questions. 12+ exclusive games The Bitcoin Casino by Primedice Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. All About BTC, LTC, ETH mining as well as other alternative crypto currencies New Open Source Ethereum Mining Pool Available If you want to run your own private or public mining pool for Ethereum (ETH) you might be interested in the release of the new open Open Source Ethereum Mining Pool by sammy007 ( source ). The pool software is functional, however an optimized release of the pool is expected to be released soon as it is being further developed to provide an easy to use pool for Ethereum miners. It already supports getwork and stratum mining, relies on the geth Go Client for Ethereum as a backend and provides good stats for miners to track their mining progress. Do note that as with other pool software although it may not be that hard to setup things, but some experience in managing and maintaining a server and a pool can be quite helpful. First Open Source Ethereum Mining Pool Released Etherchain have released an open source implementation of pooled mining for Ethereum. Do note however that this software is not a complete mining pool as it only takes care of work distribution and share validation; valid shares are stored into a local database (LevelDB). Reward calculation and payments are not yet implemented, but it should be possible to integrate this software some of the existing open source mining pools. The current implementation is in Go and it might not be the most effective one, apparently the pool is able to process ~600 workers at 30% CPU utilization (1 core) and 70MB RAM usage. The pool has been tested successfully with both the go Ethereum client (geth) and the cpp Ethereum client (eth) as a backend. And while it may not be a complete implementation with full functionality and web-based interface it is still a good starting point for anyone interested i Continue reading >>

Ethereum Pool Mining - Here You Will Find Everything You Need To Know!

Teamwork is essential. If a lot of miners connect to a pool, a high number of computing power is brought together. If a block is found then, each miner receives a piece of the Ether. Your share depends on the amount of computing power, you bring into the pool. Ether Mining in a pool, brings several advantages. You can also be a part of Ether Mining with little computing power and still receive some Ether or Finney (1 Ether = 1000 Finney). This would not be possible with Ether Solo Mining. Ether Pool Mining also eliminates the risk of coming away empty-handed. You do not have to download the Blockchain for Pool Mining. This way, you can save memory space and a lot of time of course. The disadvantages of Ether Pool Mining are rather small. There is a Pool fee which is 1% in most cases. Many Ether Mining Pools are not very transparent. So it is unclear, who is behind a Pool and what happens behind the scenes. We have tested several Ether Mining Pools. In the course of this, we have found that Dwarfpool is the most profitable one. However, there are also numerous other very good Ether Pools. You can find a list of the best Ether Mining Pools here: Ether Mining Statistics . In the following, we will show you what is necessary for a successful start of Ether Pool Mining with Windows in Dwarfpool. etherminer: You can find the current version here: Download ethminer (= cpp-Ethereum) Create a new folder on data carrier (C:) and name it Ethermining (if you have not done it yet for our Ether Solo Mining Instruction). Download both programmes and install Ethminer. Choose the new folder Ethermining as a memory location. After successful installation, you can find the file Ethereum in the file Ethermining. You only have to unpack the Stratum Proxy after the Download. Drag and Drop t Continue reading >>
