Cryptonator Wallet?

Cryptonator Wallet?

Hi. a newbie to this whole mining business. i was wondering is Cryptonator a good option as a wallet? I just made a wallet in their site to begin Zcash Mining but i wonder if Jaxx or something else would have been better...any ideas? also suggestions and tips? Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove. Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction. Advertise here. I never tested Cryptonator wallet but I'll recommend Jaxx, It's UI is really good and I feel from my side it provides much better security measures compared to other wallets, will recommend Exodus too. ETA: Correction: After publication of the article below, Jaxx requested acknowledgment that the "theft" of coins referred to is based on unsubstantiated source material, and that definitive proof that a security vulnerability or any other error on the part of Jaxx has not been proven. after using it for a while, i have to say i absolutely don't recommend it!... the exchange function is essentially an scam as the exchange prices are always behind the highest bids that are happening in the market( let's say for example when BTC reached 4400 in cryptonator's exchange it was 4347 even though the front page of the site was showing a higher price!). their adaptation to new coins is slow as all hell and when the bitcoin cash was created they basically went on and said NOPE we aren't gonna be supporting it anytime soon and so if you had any BTC before the fork and wanted to sell your BCC then tough luck! they don't even have Et Continue reading >>

Extremely High Sending Fee For Cryptonator Wallet? : Monero

Monero can't be hacked to steal your funds, due to the power of distributed consensus. This means that you are responsible for your own money, and don't have to trust any entity to keep it safe for you. The power of the blockchain usually increases security at the cost of privacy, but with Monero's sophisticated privacy-centric technology, you get all of the security benefits of the blockchain without any of the privacy trade-offs. By taking advantage of ring signatures, Monero makes it ambiguous which funds have been spent, and thus extremely unlikely that a transaction could be linked to any particular user. Because of its on-by-default privacy technologies, Monero is fungible, which means that one Monero will always be equal to another. This ensures that there will be no discrimination over the origin or history of your coins, lessening the worry of potential blacklisting by exchanges or vendors. Breaking the guidelines may result in a deleted post and possible ban. Discussion of using Monero to break the law is disallowed. Follow redditquette and the rules of reddit. Continue reading >>

The Ultimate Guide To Zcash - Cointelligence

The Ultimate Guide To Zcash - Cointelligence

> Everything you need to know about Zcash A complete guide to all you need to know about Zcash. Here, we explore the history of Zcash, the best wallets, how to buy and sell Zcash, and much more. Zcash is by far one of the cryptocurrencies that promote totally anonymous transactions. Zcash (ZEC) is an open-source cryptocurrency that was introduced in October 2016. It uses encryption to provide users with greater privacy. Zcash digital currency employs a mathematical technique called zero-knowledge proofs. This allows for a secure ledger of balances without disclosing the parties and amounts involved in a particular transaction. Users have the option of selective disclosure in order to prove payment for auditing purposes. This gives those who prefer private transactions the option of complying with anti-money laundering or tax regulations. Thus, there is a balance between offering transparency and user privacy. The financial services company, J.P. Morgan, has integrated the privacy technology of Zcash into its own blockchain. Zcash has some similarities to Bitcoin, in that transactions can be transparent and both coins have a fixed total supply of 21 million units. However, Zcash differs from Bitcoin in that it offers users greater privacy. While Zcash payments are also published on a public blockchain, users have the option of enabling a privacy feature. This serves to conceal the sender, recipient, and the transaction amount. Zcash is available on many different cryptocurrency exchanges. As such, you should have no problem buying and selling Zcash, wherever you are. Its possible to find pairs with BTC and ETH as well as with fiat currencies, including USD, EUR, and KRW, for example. While buying and selling cryptocurrencies is legal in most countries, be sure to check Continue reading >>

Noob Question - What Is The Best Zcash Wallet For Mining?

Noob Question - What Is The Best Zcash Wallet For Mining?

so whats your saying is to mine for my freewallet zCash, then send all my zec to my poloniex account and then i would exchange zec to btc and then i will send the btc to my btc account..is that right? I mine directly to my Zcash poloniex address. Then set a sell order near a recent high. As much as I believe in Zcash, I think it is still a little overpriced right now. I noticed the first wallet is Jaxx on that link, but Jaxx says you cant use it for mining. I registered here just to say this - Cryptonator steals money! If your transaction is less than the minimum amount (have you ever heard of a wallet with minimum amounts? I hadnt), they will just pocket the money - as soon as your transaction arrives, they will create a transaction in your name, to their address. You can see this here - And although they stole only 0.0008 ZEC from me, I definitely dont feel safe knowing that they can send transactions in my name. Stuff like this should be impossible in any good wallet (and I dont mean impossible in the sense of they wouldnt dare do it, I mean it should be technically impossible to be done - they should have no knowledge of your private key). Im asking, because it is apparent that you dont know, you do know that there are fees when you transfer Zcash, right? ON every pool, and in every wallet. Continue reading >>

Litecoin Cash - The First Litecoin Fork

Litecoin Cash - The First Litecoin Fork

Litecoin Cash has announced that the countdown has begun towards the release of a new cryptocurrency that will be born from a hard fork of Litecoin (LCC). At Litecoin block 1371111, Litecoin Cash (LCC) will be created. Cryptocurrency Mining Ventures Skyrocketing as Bitcoin Value Edges up This Week Everyone holding Litecoin will automatically receive 10 Litecoin Cash for every Litecoin they own. While Litecoin has always been mined with Scrypt, Litecoin Cash is a proof of work cryptocurrency securing the network using the SHA256 hashing algorithm. This allows an extension of life for older Bitcoin mining hardware, which is no longer powerful enough to mine Bitcoin; the lower anticipated difficulty of mining Litecoin Cash will put such legacy hardware to effective use. Litecoin Cash has significant advantages compared to the other main SHA256-mined coins, Bitcoin (BTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH). While those currencies both have a 10-minute block time, Litecoin Cash's 2.5-minute block target allows much faster transaction confirmation. Compared to Litecoin itself, the new fork features superior mining difficulty retargeting, via the proven DarkGravity algorithm used by Dash. Transaction fees are also reduced by 90 percent to provide incentive for real-world use. In order to ensure a fair launch, Litecoin Cash implements slow-start control to block rewards and intend to pre-release a bootstrap file to prevent a blockchain download race once the wallets become available (slated to happen shortly after the fork block). The network will use a new address prefix and replay attack prevention to eliminate inter-chain issues and minimize user confusion. The markets have become accustomed to Bitcoin hard forks over recent months, but Litecoin Cash brings the concept to a new space an Continue reading >>

Cryptonator Review, Bitcoin And Multi Cryptocurrency Wallet

Cryptonator Review, Bitcoin And Multi Cryptocurrency Wallet

The above calculation was done at the time when Coinbase offered the selling price of BTC for over $14.100. Coinbase also has a wide exchange rate, meaning that this platform has the even bigger difference between buying and sell values. Cryptonator also offers exchange rates of other coins it has in its portfolio while it provides value changes for over 100 cryptocurrencies in the market. As mentioned before, at Cryptonator, you can stash, exchange and check values of different coins. The platform offers wallet services and simple exchange swaps, both crypto-to-crypto, and crypto-to-fiat. The one major advantage of the platform is the nonexistence of the verification requirements. All you have to provide about yourself is your email, phone number or username. There is no ID check or other verification demands, thus it is a private place where you can send and receive coins. Cryptonator currently accepts a number of fiat and cryptocurrencies in its platform. You can open up wallets for 15 different coins, including bitcoin, bitcoin cash, Ethereum, DASH, and Zcash, as shown below. Other than cryptos, you can also open four fiat currencies, them being USD, EUR, RUB and UAH (Ukrainian Hryvnia). In this sphere, the coin and fiat support at Cryptonator is far superior to Xapo, CryptoPay and Blockchain's number of coins, as they offer only one or two coins, bitcoins, and Ethereum. Cryptonator offer only two platforms that you can use, them being Android app and web browsing platform. The Smartphone app is downloadable for free at Google Play Store (shown in the picture below) and pretty much has the same interface and tools like the web version of the Cryptonator's web platform. In this aspect, CryptoPay and Blockchain have a slight upper hand, as they have developed iOS app Continue reading >>
