My Wallet Balance Is Not Correct.

My Wallet Balance Is Not Correct.

Occasionally your Exodus balance may need to be manually refreshed - for example, if there was a network update error or if Exodus quit unexpectedly. You can manually refresh your balance by following the steps below: Find what asset has the incorrect balance. In this example we are going to refresh the Aragon balance. These steps are the same for each asset. Open your bitcoin wallet by clicking on Wallet on the left sidebar then choose Aragon. Mouse over the Aragon logo and you will see a refresh icon. Click on the refresh icon. A dialog will open asking you if you want to rescan the blockchain. Choose "Rescan". When this process starts, individual transactions are counted and rebuilt. This is very similar to recounting a drawer of money. This feature was improved in version 1.41.0. If you are using ANY older version it is important to update to the latest version of Exodus then follow the steps above. You can update to the latest version of Exodus by visiting: During an Exodus exchange, the funds leave your wallet for a moment before coming back in the asset you exchanged for. This is normal behavior. You can learn more about the exchange process here: Continue reading >>

Deposited Eth To My Eth Wallet But Not Showing Up Since 24 Hours+

Deposited ETH to my ETH wallet but not showing up since 24 hours+ So I deposited some ETH on the address provided to me in the balances section but it hasnt shown up. Will it ever show up?! The address on Numer.ai s website is only for holding NMR. If you look at the transaction did it actually go through, or was it refused and the ETH refunded to you? I did the same mistake - deposited ETH from kraken to the NMR wallet. Kraken report that transaction was success and etherchain.org confirm it was received. I can see (using etherchain.org ) the transaction ETH value on address from balances, but numerai shows zero. How to refund it back? Well, if the transaction says it went through, then you could either wait for a numerai employee to respond here or jump in the slack and ask there, but its possible the ETH is lost. Hey, I did the same mistake. I transferred Ether to my Numerai ETH wallet and have not received it yet. The message on the website is misleading by saying: "Deposit Numeraire into your account by sending it to this Ethereum address" Has anyone got any feedback from Numerai regarding this issue? How is that misleading? You deposit Numeraire into your account by sending it to that address. It doesnt say Deposit Ethereum into your account Continue reading >>

How To See Your Brickblock Token Balance In Your Ethereumwallet

How To See Your Brickblock Token Balance In Your Ethereumwallet

How to see your Brickblock Token balance in your Ethereumwallet We have now begun distributing Brickblock Tokens (BBK) to our pre-sale and ICO contributors. BBK are ERC20 standard tokens. Some Ethereum wallets will automatically display your tokens once they are received. Other wallets will require you to manually add tokens. This is an easy process, which we demonstrate below for various wallets 2. Add the BBK token address (0x4a6058666cf1057eac3cd3a5a614620547559fc9), number of decimals (18), and token symbol (BBK). 3. Click Add. You will now see BBK in the token tab of your wallet. 1. Click Add Custom Token in the Token Balances tab. 2. Add the BBK address (0x4a6058666cf1057eac3cd3a5a614620547559fc9), number of decimals (18), and token symbol (BBK). 3. Click Save. You will now see BBK in your wallet. Jaxx currently does not allow you to add custom tokens. However, we have a partnership with Jaxx that will see BBK officially supported as soon as possible. We are currently in discussions with the Jaxx team and expect this to happen within one week. If you are using a wallet that doesnt display ERC20tokens Not all wallets are able to display every ERC20 token. This applies especially when the token is new or doesnt have a lot of traction. There is an easy solution for being able to see your BBK token balance if you are using a wallet that doesnt allow you to manually add them. Export your private key from the wallet you are using. In MyEtherWallet, click on Send Ether & Tokens 4. Click private key and paste your private key into the input box. Click unlock. 5. In the Token Balances tab, click Load Token Balances. It is likely that BBK wont show up yet, so you will have to manually add it. Click Add Custom Token. 6. Add the BBK token address (0x4a6058666cf1057eac3cd3a5a Continue reading >>

Mist Wallet Balance Not Showing

Mist Wallet Balance Not Showing

I set up a wallet via Linux Terminal in November, I know there is a balance there and just checked. I set up MIST 2 nights ago and was told that MIST recognizes the wallet in computer (which I didn't know was even possible) but the new wallet does NOT show that address or any balance being carried over to the new MIST wallet. I take it just import the keys like any wallet? I was just curious if it was supposed to recognize the existing wallet as others have told me. My friend just set up MIST last night and automatically carried over his balance. What did I do wrong or what should I do? Do you know which command line client you were using? Rando Feb 27 '16 at 15:54 do you mean geth? I had always been running GETH btcmacroecon Feb 29 '16 at 14:53 If you previously installed, ran, and created a new account using the geth client and then installed Mist / Ethereum Wallet, your accounts from geth typically show up in Mist / Ethereum Wallet. This is because the keystore files (your encrypted private keys, in JSON format) for accounts created via geth command line and Mist's GUI are stored in the same place. However, on Linux, the folder may have changed in the past few months. While researching this answer , I found some conflicting reports of where accounts' keystore files were saved on Linux. In addition, if you were using the eth client (C++, cpp-ethereum) instead of geth, that may also result in accounts being in different places. Hypothetically, all keystore files are saved at ~/.ethereum/keystore on Linux, but it seems like occasionally this isn't the case. So, in order to get the account you previously created via geth into your Mist, first locate where your Mist is storing the keystore files. Go to the menu bar and select "Accounts" -> "Backup" -> "Accounts". This wi Continue reading >>

Bat Transfer Not Showing Up In Brave Browser

Bat Transfer Not Showing Up In Brave Browser

BAT transfer not showing up in Brave browser I just transferred 26 BAT to the account number listed in my Brave browser. The transaction has been on the chain for 45 minutes ( ) but the account balance in Brave is still 0. The BAT arrived, it just took a couple of hours for Brave to detect them. Hey @odinodin . Our wallets are off-chain, provided by Uphold. They sweep all funds to their pool address, theyre not stored long term in the on-chain deposit address that you see when adding funds within Brave. As a side effect we cant query the blockchain to determine accurate balance information, we have to query Uphold. Normally they pick up onchain transaction and add them to the pending balance within a matter of minutes, but its possible that it could take longer to register in their system. I sent 136 BAT. All Ive seen of it is three bouncing balls! I dont really know what to do with that. that issue is recognized by the team. would you please restart the browser and see if it solves the issue? thanks Thanks for asking, Im still getting the three bouncing balls and the Please wait while we convert your bitcoin to BAT message. I restarted the browser many times to no avail. Im having the same problem. I started a transfer using Ethereum over 24 hours ago to try it out and all I have is the bouncing balls. @Lee Did you find a resolution? Seems no one is brave enough to go to BAT for me. Id go so far as to say basically no attention has been paid to me. @SpottedSalamander Same here. I just signed up for an Uphold account, Im hoping to find a way to track my funds through them. I know that the transfer went through to the address that I was given, but thats about it at this point. Im still looking at those three bouncing balls in my Brave Browser and feeling kind of stupid Continue reading >>

How To Check Your Ethereum Wallet Balance And Transactions With Etherscan

How to Check Your Ethereum Wallet Balance and Transactions with Etherscan Posted by Chris McCoy | Nov 22, 2017 | All Wallets , Ethereum Wallets , EtherScan Wallet Info , Tutorials , Wallets | 0 | There are many ways to check the balance of your Ethereum wallet. This guide will go over how to check it using Etherscan, which is an Ethereum block explorer. If you want to check your balance using MyEtherWallet (MEW), check out my other post here . Block explorers are basically interfaces that allow you to view the activity on a blockchain. Most provide effortless ways to look up your account balances, transactions, and other pertinent information. You do not need to create an account to use these, just plug in your wallet address and you should be good to go! Type in your wallet address in the search bar located at the top right and click GO If you only have ETH you are done. You should see a screen like the below screenshot, which shows your ETH balance. Go to the next step to see how you view non-ETH tokens. If you have more than ETH in your account, you should see a View Tokens box with a number in the corner of it. Click this to see all the non-ETH tokens in your wallet NOTE: This is an exchange wallet, hence the massive number of tokens. View Tokens will not always show the name of the token. If a token is newer and the contract has not been verified, you may see the contract address instead of the name. However, you will still see the token symbol (LINK, CVC, CND, etc.). Balances are also not always available, so you may not see balances for every token in your wallet. Transactions can be broken up into 3 categories. General transactions, Internal Transactions, and Token Transfers. Each one of these types can be seen from the account screen on Etherscan. Note that th Continue reading >>

Ethereum Wallet Not Showing Balance

Hey all, so i had to re-install my ethereum wallet on a new pc as the old hard drive ran out of space. I copied my Keystore file and have copied it into the newly downloaded wallet. The wallet is taking days to fully sync, it's still about 1000 blocks away and never quite reaches 100%. My wallet however is showing 0 ETH balance when i've checked the blockchain and it should hold approx 25 ETH. Any idea why the wallet is not showing my balance and why it's taking so freaking long to sync? I Sent Funds To Jaxx But They're Not Showing Up In My Wallet. What's Next?

There could be various reasons as to why you're not seeingyour accurate balance. Follow these steps to troubleshoot this issue: "Did I send funds to the correct address?" Check and make sure that the address you sent funds to is correct. Public addresses are case sensitive so make sure that each character is the same. Please check to make sure you sent funds to the right token (when sending to ETH, ETC or REP). "Does the address exist in mylist ofpublic keys?" Check to make sure that the address exists as one of yourpublic keys by going to Menu > Tools > Display Private Keys > Display and make sure that the target addressis displayed. "Are the funds in my public address (on a block explorer)?" The blockchain is the most accurate point of reference when it comes to balances and transactions. It will show you your most recent transactions as well as your most accurate balance. Check the target address on a block explorer tosee whether the funds have been deposited into that address. If not, it's possible that the transaction has either failed, or is still pending. "Are the balances on the blockchain consistent with the wallet balance in Jaxx?" You can see the balance of each address in Jaxx when you visit your private keys and public addresses(Menu > Tools > Display Private Keys > Display Keys). As shown below, each address will show the balance: If the balances are not the same, make sure that you are not using the following services: Continue reading >>

How To Do An Ethereum Transaction, & Check Your Balance? | Cryptocompare.com

How to make an Ethereum Transaction, & check your balance? Once you have managed to set up an Ethereum Miner using either your GPU or your CPU its time to start checking your balance and start trading. Were going to show you how you can check your balance in Command Prompt, how to convert between all the different values of Ether , such as the base unit Wei, and how to make your first transaction! Once you have set up your miner via running the Geth program and Ethminer program (see our guide here on how to get started), you need to open up a third Command Prompt Window. Step 1: This can be done by right clicking on the command prompt in the taskbar at the bottom of your screen and then clicking on the command prompt that appears at the top of the menu. A third command prompt should now be open. Step 2: You now need to tell this Command Prompt where to look to get up and running. Usually the command Prompt window opens looking at your user profile. If this is the case you need to tell Command Prompt to go to wherever you installed geth. In our guide we installed it straight on the C Drive so we need to tell command prompt to get back to the C Drive which we do by typing in cd C:\ and pressing enter. Step 3: You then need to tell Command Prompt what to do. In this case you need to tell it to attach to Geth. So all you type in is geth attach which should look like this C:/>geth attach and then press enter. You now have a console up and running talking to geth so you can start asking it questions or telling it to do things. Remember for"geth attach" to work you need to have anotherCommand Prompt Window runningwith "geth --rpc". If you want to find out your address you type in eth.coinbase. This should look like this C:/>eth.coinbase. Press enter and you should see your ad Continue reading >>

I am a total newbie about Ethereum and Tokens under it. I want to register on some airdrops but most needs ERC20 compatible wallet address. I made an account at ImToken, I am just wondering how much Ethereum balance do I need to maintain to receive those free airdrops. I would appreciate any help from you guys. There are no ERC20 tokens from deeponions... you just need to download the DeepOnion wallet and use that address to receive airdrops (you need to have the address in your profile) it all depends from airdrop rules, some request it and other doesn't but eventually ask you for buying some of their coins / tokens i personal prefer airdrops were the only condition is having a valid address I have an ether wallet that has 0 ether in it I use just for ERC20 airdrops. The majority of token airdrops do not require you to have any ether. You will need some to transfer your tokens out of your wallet but only a very small amount There are no ERC20 tokens from deeponions... you just need to download the DeepOnion wallet and use that address to receive airdrops (you need to have the address in your profile) Yep, I am already fully aware of the airdrops of DeepOnion, I just want to receive some from those ERC20 tokens just for trial. Thanks anyway for the help Like said above, you don't need a balance, just your keys. Good to have a few addresses with Continue reading >>

My Ethereum Wallet Not Showing Balance: How I Restored Lost Funds

My Ethereum Wallet Not Showing Balance: How I Restored Lost Funds As I mentioned in my January 2018 income report, I discovered that my Eethereum wallet not showing balance it was supposed to show. In the other words, all my ethers were gone from my Jaxx wallet and I was left with zeroethers. It was not the first time I saw that happening; Sam already had the same problem with his wallet in a few months before. However, it was the first time it happened with me. The discovery was very sudden. Only in December, I checked my balance and it was correct. What the heck happened?! After seeing the zeros, for a long moment, I truly believed that someone stole my Ethereum it was a chilling feeling What I learned from restoring balance in my Ethereum wallet Meanwhile, Sam did not lose his cool. He looked at my wallet and confirmed it might be similar to his past problem. He opened his wallet and saw the same symptoms. This is a glitch, he said again. To confirm his feeling, we looked at the metadata of the last transaction that seemed to wipe out all the balance from the wallet. The funds were placed in some address and no other transactions were made from it. If it was an address that belonged to hackers, it would be highly unlikely that they would just leave the money there without transferring them further, for example, to an exchange platform for selling. A side note: You think that using crypto-currency is totally anonymous and its true when it comes to knowing who owns a particular address. However, if you want to know what transactions were made from a known address, all the info is totally public. For Ethereum transactions, you can look it up on etherscan.io . Meanwhile, we started thinking how to fix the glitch. After unsuccessfully trying out a Chrome plugin for Jaxx W Continue reading >>
