Bitcoin payments processor BitPay announced in a statement that its European card issuer, WaveCrest Holdings, Ltd., had been told by Visa to close its accounts. The company will refund any remaining balances, as well as card order fees for anyone who purchased a card after Dec. 1, 2017. Top 3 Ethereum Debit Cards For The Future
The world of cryptocurrency debit cards has beengrowing a lot more competitive lately. Several companies held ICOs over the past year to raise money for such projects. Three main debit cards are on a lot of peoples radars right now, although it remains to be seen whetherany of them willmake an impact. These cards all have promise if their teams can deliver, though. It is greatto see support for Ethereum generated bythese cards, as that is pretty unusual. Although this card has nothing to do with the European microstate, the Monaco debit card will offer support for popular coins gradually. Analyzing all promising contenders and slowlyrolling out support sounds like a solid idea, butit may be more difficult to achieve than originally anticipated. For the time being, the card will focus on both Bitcoin and Ethereum, although that list could grow pretty quickly. Being currency-agnostic when it comes to debit card certainly has its advantages, assuming it works as advertised. The Monaco ICO did not sell out quickly, which is both a good and a bad thing. Itsannouncement happened one month prior to itscrowdsale. According to the latest information, the Monaco mobile app and card pre-orders should become available August 31st. A lot of people will be watching, including some of the companys competitors in this space. There will also be a discount program for participating retailers, although the specifics are being kept under wraps for the time being. Most cryptocurrency enthusiasts will have heard of the Token Card, which is a debit card for Ethereum and anything running on top of this blockchain. How To Instantly Buy Ethereum With A Credit/Debit Card By: Sudhir Khatwani In: Ethereum Last Updated: If Bitcoin is the undisputed king of cryptocurrencies, then Ethereum is the queen. This year has especially been promising for the Ethereum cryptocurrency. From the start of the year until this point in time, Ethereum has grown more than 1,800%. The formation of the EEA , proof-of-stake talks, and the ICO madness on the Ethereum platform are the reasons for this quick price rally. This has made Ether (ETH) a hot cake in the cryptocurrency market, and it is proudly the most promising altcoin out there. And because of this, you probably want to get ahold of some ETH tokens. You will probably go and buy some BTCs and get them exchanged via Poloniex or Bittrex. This might take a really long time, and youll possibly need to wait days for everything to go through. But whats the point of buying ETH in several days? If you are familiar with the crypto-space, then you might know that waiting too long defeats the whole purpose of buying cryptocurrencies. Buy Ethereum With Credit Card! Top 2 Easiest Ways!
The second way I bought Ethereum through today was CEX.io . Similarly to Coinbase, the registration process was easy. After entering my information, CEX recommended me to enable 2-Factor-Authentication. I recommend all users to enable this at the site where where they buy ethereum with a credit card or any other deposit method that may contain sensitive personal information. Similar to Coinbase, CEX required me to verify my account before I could purchase. They asked for a selfie with my payment card and also pictures of my ID. This process was a bit time consuming and I much prefer Coinbase automatic verification system with just a simple picture. Once CEX verified my account, I could easily buy ethereum with my credit card and received it in my wallet minutes later. Overall I had a better experience with Coinbase as their verification process was a lot quicker than CEX. In my opinion the CEX verification was not too bad, but compared to the smoother experience Coinbase offers it felt slow. Other than that both exchanges offered a very simple user experience and there was no trouble along they way. The ethereum appeared in my wallet quickly and both CEX and Coinbase offer their own wallets. I hope you appreciated my guide on how to buy ethereum!
