Blockchain.info Now Fully Support Bitcoin Cash! - Btc

Blockchain.info now fully support Bitcoin Cash! This is great. They also now support Ether. Bitcoin Cash works on the web wallet, but not yet on the mobile app. Hope they update it soon I had btc in the blockchain mobile app at the time of the bch fork. Will that bch be in the mobile wallet when bch is supported? edit: just logged into the web app and saw that it's there. So if you had bitcoin in a blockchain.info wallet on the date of the fork you now have the equal amount in a bitcoin cash wallet under your account there? Yep its there. The exact amount i was expecting Yeah, was looking for it already and did not see it. :-) Eagerly awaiting an update for their mobile app, too. Loving the multiple adoption stories every day. It's like bitcoin in 2014 except x5 speed. Watch, in a couple months Steam will start accepting Bitcoin Cash lol. Definitely I got a little excited seeing this post, 1st thing I did was check the mobile app only to be disappointed Wow. This is huge. Blockchain's wallet is very widely used and an excellent place to store easy-to-reach volumes of bitcoins. This will make me much more willing to actually use my BCH. It is also very convenitent that I already have BCH on my Blockchain account since I had BTC there in august. yup so much easier now. I have sent some to tippr so I'm waiting for confirmations. I'm excited! Now the data APIs too please!! Would LOVE a websocket tx feed for bchslap.com ;) Hi there! We have a websocket API for Bitcoin Cash. It supports the same operations as our Bitcoin websocket API, which is documented on api.blockchain.info . The URL is wss://ws.blockchain.info/bch/inv, so in JavaScript: var bitcoinCash = new WebSocket("wss://ws.blockchain.info/bch/inv");bitcoinCash.send(data); Can you please make an exact copy of you bl Continue reading >>

Blockchain Reviews | Read Customer Service Reviews Of Blockchain.info

I have used this wallet all the way through November 2017 to January 2018 and have not experienced any problems except for the extremely long transaction times for Bitcoin in December, but that was not the fault of Blockchain.info. I find it shocking to see all the bad reviews about Blockchain.info, but I cannot confirm the reviews because I haven't used this wallet since mid January. Also, I never bought any BTC through this wallet, I just used it as a wallet. TBH, I think the people who have had problems are incompetent and don't know how to enter correct values such as the address and fail to double check the stuff they put in. Also, people who sent in 30 bucks worth of BTC and then have zero because of the transaction fees in December: that's not because of Blockchain.info. During December the transaction fees for BTC were crazy, whether you used blockchain.info or any other wallet/exchange. I have a wallet with blockchain. I recently sent 800 dollars of bitcoin cash to a bitcoin address by mistake. I assumed since the addresses were the same, and since both currencies say, "bitcoin" in their name, that the currencies were interchangeable. I was wrong! I have attempted to CONTACT BLOCKCHAIN FOR SEVERAL DAYS NOW, and they never respond to my email. I am getting the feeling that they don't care to help me at this point. I have sent them an email every 2 days for the past 10 days now, and nothing! I have even set up new accounts in the hopes that they would answer me and still nothing. The wallet I sent the bitcoin cash to is telling me that they don't have it. They are telling me they do not accept bitcoin cash, and when I search the address I sent it to I can see the money is still there, and it has not been moved, so I believe them when they tell me they don't have Continue reading >>

Blockchain.info Wallet Review

Blockchain.info Wallet Review

Blockchain.info is a longstanding Bitcoin and Ethereum Wallet and is one of the most used websites in the industry. The platform was launched in August 2011 and is based in Luxembourg. Blockchain.info also has a blockchain explorer that aims to help users understand the current status of Bitcoin including latest transactions and the number of transactions per day. In this Blockchain.info wallet review, youll find out more about what the platform has to offer, the level of difficulty in using it, and ultimately whether it fits your needs. The Blockchain.info wallet is highly popular for a number of reasons. People love the easy-to-use layout, as well as the Blockchain.infos positive reputation. However, there are also a few drawbacks to the service due to it being online. Blockchain.info is an established trusted company with years of experience and millions of users. Well-liked for small transactions and regular payments. Helpful to spend funds from a paper wallet. Easy and straightforward to use makes it appealing for new Bitcoin users. People like the smartphone apps functionality. Experienced Bitcoin users dont like the potential risks of an online hot wallet. There a few reports of accounts being emptied and stolen. There are claims that customer support is often unhelpful or completely elusive. People generally like the software when it comes to the functionality and day-to-day use. The major issue (if any) is the potentially lapses in security. Whether or not the users complaining that their wallets got hacked were taking adequate security measures isnt known, but its worth noting that online wallets can be risky. Plus the customer support often ignores this complaint leaving users a little high and dry. It is recommended that the wallet should be used for lower Continue reading >>

Blockchain.info Eth/Btc Exchange UNCONFIRM 12 DAYs Hi. (First of all, excuse me for bad english) I have some eth's in my blockchain.info wallet. I want to exchange eth to btc. Yesterday, (23 hours ago) i did it. ((at now, 12 days ago) But although it tooks 23 hours,(at now, 12 days ago) it is unconfirmed. note: i did'nt use another exchange. only between blockchain.info wallets. you know that blockchain.info offers eth to btc and btc to eth exchange. Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction. Advertise here. An unconfirmed transaction will eventually be accepted into a block by whichever mining pool mines the block, or the transaction will eventually be rejected by the bitcoin network. If it eventually is rejected, then the funds would remain at the bitcoin address they were sent from. The only thing you can do at this point is to wait and see if the transaction is accepted into a block. Like all wallet providers, Blockchain.info has absolutely no control over this, and cannot expedite transactions. This is always dependent upon the bitcoin network of miners, which we are not a part of. Blockchain.info wallets utilize dynamic fees. The following link explains how this works - .[Suspicious link removed]/2016/03/16/introducing-dynamic-fees/." You probably don't want to contact support and say that a transaction is unconfirmed... they'll just auto respond with that standard response. Tell them that your ETH/BTC exchange has failed and is not processed. Bad timing for converting ETH/BTC while both networks are congested. Did you send ETH from Blockchain wallet to another exchange, and are waiting for that exchange to send BTC to your blockchain wallet? Bad timing for converting ETH/BTC while b Continue reading >>

10 Little Known Features Hidden Inside Blockchain.info Last updated on January 2nd, 2018 at 12:00 am Its no secret that 99Bitcoins is a big fan of Blockchain.info . The company which recently received $30.5m in venture capital funding is one of the hottest names in the Bitcoin community. The company provides a Bitcoin block explorer and also a Bitcoin wallet called My Wallet all free of charge. For those of you who dont have a Blockchain.info account yet, I highly recommend it. Recently I took a deeper look into what features the blockchain.info website provides and found out some prettty cool stuff. Is the Bitcoin Economy Actually Growing or Is This a Bubble ? Blockchain.info supplies a lot of charts and statistics about the Bitcoin network. But sometimes these chart are hard to understand. One of the more interesting charts you can find is the Trade volume Vs. Transaction Volume chart. This chart is the result of taking the actual Bitcoin transaction volume and dividing it with the Bitcoin trade volume. The lower the number the more trading is being conducted. When more trading is done than actual transactions this could imply a bubble. If you take a closer look youll be able to see that when the ratio trends downward Bitcoins price spikes since there is more speculation. Supercool Visualisaztion of Bitcoin nodes and Miners Although not really useful this next feature is pretty cool. It shows the distribution of Bitcoin nodes and miners around the globe. You can play around with a 3d model of Earth to find out where are the computers responsible for facilitating Bitcoin transactions are located. Blockchain.info allows you to view the Bitcoin addresses which received the most payments up until today. Not surprisingly the leaders are addresses from SatoshiDice and Betc Continue reading >>

Bitcoin: $50m In Cryptocurrency Stolen Using Google Ads | Fortune

Bitcoin: $50m In Cryptocurrency Stolen Using Google Ads | Fortune

For years, hackers have robbed Bitcoin investors , emptying their cryptocurrency wallets without fear of being caught thanks to the relative anonymity of the blockchain. Now, Cisco (csco) has exposed the thieves behind a string of particularly flagrant attacks. A Ukrainian hacker group dubbed Coinhoarder has stolen more than $50 million in cryptocurrency from users of Blockchain.info, one of the most popular providers of digital currency wallets, according to a report published Wednesday by Ciscos Talos cybersecurity team. The report explains how thieves preyed upon their victims using a very simple yet treacherous technique: Buying Google ads on popular search keywords related to cryptocurrency to poison user search results and snatch the contents of crypto wallets. This meant people Googling terms like blockchain or bitcoin wallet, saw links to malicious websites masquerading as legitimate domains for Blockchain.info wallets. For example, the poison ads included spoofed links with small types like blokchien.info/wallet and block-clain.info, which sent visitors to a landing page that mirrored actual websites of the company Blockchain, which runs both the domains Blockchain.info and blockchain.com. (The legitimate sites appeared lower in results than the poisoned links, according to Ciscos report.) Fooled into believing they had come to the right place, victims then entered private information that allowed the hackers to gain access to their actual wallets and take their digital money. The attackers needed only to continue purchasing Google AdWords to ensure a steady stream of victims, the Talos team led by Jeremiah OConnor and Dave Maynor said in their report. Blockchain, for its part, is working with Google on a daily basis to take down phishing ads, and secured the Continue reading >>

Blockchain.info Rolls Out Btc Buy/sell In Us

Blockchain.info Rolls Out Btc Buy/sell In Us

Blockchain.info Rolls Out BTC Buy/Sell in US Wallet service Blockchain.info announced the launch of Bitcoin buy and sell functions for its US customers. It plans to add the same features for other cryptocurrencies. Blockchain.info, one of the worlds largest cryptocurrency wallet services, has introduced Bitcoin buy and sell functions for its US clients, CNBC reports , citing CEO Peter Smith. The company starts with the Bitcoin sell feature and will proceed to add the buy function, as well as expand the features to other cryptocoins, he said. So far, Bitcoin buy and sell functions have been available to Blockchain.info customers in the UK, where the business is based. With the US launch, the company aims to rival Coinbase, the largest crypto exchange in the US at present. As of Thursday, US customers from 22 states can sell their Bitcoin, while the buying function will become available within weeks. Given the huge crypto market correction this week, it would be better to begin with providing the sell service, according to Smith. This gradual introduction will help the company control the launch of the features. If we are prioritizing short-term gains, we would prioritize buy that is what most people have done. But it's really time to make sure we nail that experience, he told CNBC before the official launch announcement. Blockchain.info says its user base numbers about 22 million, with Smith estimating that 30% to 40% are people based in the US. This suggests that the platform has some seven to eight million customers in the US alone, more than what Coinbase might have. The latter has over 10 million users worldwide. A lot of crypto traders in the US have complained about some local crypto exchanges, Coinbase included. Some complaints relate to withdrawal and liquidity Continue reading >>

Using Blockchain Info For Lower Btc Fees

Using Blockchain Info For Lower Btc Fees

We have done extensive testing over the years to make sure bitcoin transactions are delivered the fastest way possible. Because Exodus prioritizes speed and reliability over low fees Exodus will always dynamically set the highest price to deliver your transactions. This, of course, may not be suitable for your needs and so we offer this solution: You can use Blockchain.Info to manually set your fees. Here's how: WARNING: ONCE YOU IMPORT YOUR PRIVATE KEYS, YOU CANNOT DELETE THEM FROM BLOCKCHAIN.INFO WALLET Press CTRL + SHIFT + D to open the developer menu. Make sure you don't have any other application windows open at the same time. Then select Developer > Assets > Bitcoin > Export Private Keys Go to Exodus > Developer >Assets > Bitcoin > Export Private Keys Exodus will ask "Are you sure?" Click "I'm Sure." You will then see a folder on your desktop called "Exodus-Exports." Inside you should see a .csv file that says "WARNING-HAS-PRIVATE-KEYS." When you open the file, you will see two public and private key addresses. We must warn you that exposing your private keys puts your funds at risk. NEVER keep your private keys saved on a file on your computer or on a USB stick. If someone gets a hold of your private keys, they can steal your funds without logging into your Exodus account. Go to to create a new wallet. On the left side column, click on Settings > Addresses It will ask you for your private key. Copy and Paste the private key with funds into the text field then click Import. If the private key is valid, you will get a pop up that says your associated address and your balance: Click on Transfer to transfer the funds. It will then ask you to transfer funds, but it will charge you very little to do so. You'll then get a pop-up where you can specify the receiving addr Continue reading >>
