NOTE: All API URLs should use the domain api.kraken.com. Public methods can use either GET or POST. Private methods must use POST and be set up as follows: API-Key = API keyAPI-Sign = Message signature using HMAC-SHA512 of (URI path + SHA256(nonce + POST data)) and base64 decoded secret API key nonce = always increasing unsigned 64 bit integerotp = two-factor password (if two-factor enabled, otherwise not required) Note: There is no way to reset the nonce to a lower value so be sure to use a nonce generation method that won't generatenumbers less than the previous nonce. A persistent counter or the current time in hundredths of a second precision or higher is suggested.Too many requests with nonces below the last valid nonce (EAPI:Invalid nonce) can result in temporary bans. Note: Sometimes requests can arrive out of order or NTP can cause your clock to rewind, resulting in nonce issues. If you encounter this issue, you can change the nonce window in your account API settings page. The amount to set it to depends upon how you increment the nonce. Depending on your connectivity, a setting that would accomodate 3-15 seconds of network issues is suggested. API calls that require currency assets can be referenced using their ISO4217-A3 names in the case of ISO registered names, their 3 letter commonly used names in the case of unregistered names, or their X-ISO4217-A3 code (see . If nothing happens, download Xcode and try again. If nothing happens, download the GitHub extension for Visual Studio and try again. A Node.js-based Implementation of Bitcoin Indonesia's Trade API This implementation is compatible with Trade API v1.7. All API request methods are implemented using Request and Bluebird. A private and secret key must be set before making any private API requests. See this link . Correct order of parallel private API requests cannot be guaranteed because of asynchronous nature of JavaScript and network latency. Some requests will fail because of incorrect nonce. Tell your nice trading bot to handle errors carefully and just don't go too fast. It is recommended to use proven third party library to parse numbers and do arithmetic calculations, such as bignumber.js. You know, JavaScript is bad at math and I am pretty sure you don't want to lose even only a small fraction of your precious digital golds. I am not responsible for any future profits, losses or damages caused by this library. Cryptocurrency trading is always considered to be high-risk activity. By using this library, it is assumed that you know exactly what you are doing. const btcid = require('btc-id');const API = new btcid(); Continue reading >>

Api - How To Build A Bitcoin Trading Bot - Bitcoin Stack Exchange

Api - How To Build A Bitcoin Trading Bot - Bitcoin Stack Exchange

I'd like to experiment with bitcoin technology, crypto currency, and encryption. I thought the best way to accomplish that is building my very own bitcoin trading bot. It seems like a daunting task, but I think I can accomplish this in the following outlined steps: The bot has to be connected to a wallet. I think I can accomplishthis by connecting it to a 3rd party wallet with public API. My bot has to be connected to an exchange that also provides publicAPI which allows automated buying and selling My bot has to be able to read the exchange's order book and price. I'd like to know, what is the best way to build a wallet for my bot? And which exchange should I connect my bot to? I know I am probably missing some key points. So if someone can point me to the right direction, I'd greatly appreciated. Building trading bots that interact with the exchanges is very similar to interacting with other RESTful APIs. Basically, you make query objects to whichever exchange you like to use. Here is a simple example: Nickelbot is development platform written in PHP that has all the boilerplate code for interacting with several exchanges. You can write a bot once, like that will give you full control and it works with multiple exchanges. Take a look at all the example code on to see exactly what you need to do. You have the basic steps down. You can cut out #1 since your wallet will likely be the on the exchange you are trading on. #4 is the hardest part, at least if you are trying to make money! Overall your question is pretty broad, but I did do a walk-through video on creating a simple trading bot earlier this year on youtube. This goes over using the Bitfinex API to trade (too bad I chose them considering their recent issues) and PHP to write the code. In order to automate the t Continue reading >>

Multi-exchange bitcoin trading interface for php. This project aims to create a common interface to the various exchange API's that is easy to install and use via composer. Curent list of clients and their status is as follows. Bitstamp - willmoss/bitstamp-php-api (mostly normalized) MtGox - thed1360/mtgox-api-v1-php-class (mostly normalized doesn't matter they're dead anyways) BTC-e - marinu666/PHP-btce-api (only ticker method normalized) Kraken - payward/kraken-api-client (only ticker method normalized) Installation is extremely easy using composer by adding the package to your composer.json "require": { "php": ">=5.4.0", "thed1360/array-helper": "dev-master", "thed1360/btc-ex": "dev-master" } use BitcoinExchange\Factory;use \Exception;try{ // first parameter is the driver mtgox|btc-e|bitstamp // second parameter is an array with the key, secret, and usually a third parameter which is either client_id, cert, or noonce $instance = new Factory("bitstamp", ["key"=>"test", "secret"=>"sdklfj", "client_id"=>0000]); $client = $instance->client(); var_dump($client->balance());}catch(Exception $e){ echo $e->getMessage()."\n";} As work progresses the aim is to normalize not only the methods into simple buy, sell, ticker, cancel, and balance but to also normalize their output as well. Currently all but one of the libraries (the dead one) are included in this package but I will be trying to work with the authors to have them published to packagist. Drivers are extensions of the libraries for the different APIs and mormalize the methods and their output. The standard is to return an Arr object for every response. Once you have written a driver you can add it to the Factory::Divers array to make it available to us. Currently this project needs contributions not only by the origina Continue reading >>
