Bitcoin Through Cashapp - Bitcoin

Bitcoin Through Cashapp - Bitcoin

I use it. Its pretty convenient tbh. You cant request BTC through the app yet that Ive noticed. But its instant and theres no fee. So Ill buy from the app and then send it to a wallet elsewhere. I pay rent on that app so every week I put 1/4 of my rent in BTC and cash out at the end of the month to pay rent. I feel like Im paying rent in BTC even though Im not really. Ive won some months and lost some. But I figure the more use BTC had on the app, the more likely square is to implement it for something. Oh thats really dope. Im still new to the whole ideology of cryptocurrency and trying to figure out how much I should initially buy to profit from it down the road. I guess whatever Im willing to lose I suppose. Can you please screenshot where to go for crypto in the app, I don't seem to have the functionality... Not your keys not your bitcoin. They allow you to take ownership which is good....but they won't allow you to sell after you have officially become owner.... that I don't like... Continue reading >>

Beware The Square: Issues With Cash App For Bitcoin Withdrawals : Bitcoin

Beware The Square: Issues With Cash App For Bitcoin Withdrawals : Bitcoin

The reply from Cash Support to the issue does not inspire confidence. While they put out that nice little fancy children's website about Bitcoin, their FAQ is barren and they seem to keep bank hours. I just wanted to throw this out there so people know what they might be getting into at the early stages of this whole thing. I personally try to time it right if I'm paying a premium for instant Bitcoin, albeit a smaller one with Square/Cash, so this is an issue. Especially when it gets stuck for hours and you can't do anything. Hopefully, it will get better but Robinhood needs to set the bar higher when they debut. EDIT: This is their response to the withdrawal issue today. Wait 24 hours. Unacceptable. If they don't send cash that way, then Bitcoin shouldn't be any different. If they weren't prepared to do simple things like withdrawals, that's a huge problem. EDIT 2: Finally got an email telling me that they can take up to 24 hours or more to process and to contact them at the end of the day, when of course they won't be around to assist. I would highly advise anyone to stay away as this is unreliable, untrustworthy and not transparent in any fashion when you use their service. You don't know when you might get your withdrawal and that is simply the wrong business model. This isn't cash, Bitcoin goes up and down very quickly. But by holding your BTC for a day, they can game the system. Not that anybody seems to care, but I'm sure someone else will find this out and then people will complain. Continue reading >>

Reddit: The Front Page Of The Internet

It is free to send or receive money from bank accounts and to or from credit/debit cards, free to deposit cash to your bank account next day - or instantly for a fee. For BTC exchanges their website says this: You are not charged a conversion fee, or any other fees, to buy or sell Bitcoin through the Cash App. Your exchange rate for buying and selling Bitcoin through the Cash App is calculated using the current market rate across the most popular U.S. exchanges, plus a spread determined by the size of your transaction and market volatility. The exchange rate may differ between transactions, and may also differ from exchange rates available to you from other buyers and sellers of Bitcoin. As I understand it they make money on the spread from your BTC buys/sells and also make money on interest earned on the cash that users hold in their accounts just like any bank. Edit: you cant upload a logo, only draw with a pen and use a few select line art logos and letters/numbers. Like the praying hands in the first image. Continue reading >>
