Top 7 Bitcoin Ad Networks For Advertisers And Webmasters

Top 7 Bitcoin Ad Networks for Advertisers and Webmasters Bitcoin ad networks are great to advertise Bitcoin businesses that want to reach out to the Bitcoin community and for publishers to make money from their Bitcoin-based websites.Bitcoin and cryptocurrency is still a very niche area of technology and finance, and as such, if you want to run a business in this field, it might be hard to reach the targeted audience. Luckily, there are some good Bitcoin ad networks out there that can help you reach the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency communities. These are also good for publishers who run websites in the Bitcoin niche, and have a decent sized audience. This is one of the oldest ad networks specifically in the Bitcoin space. The project started in Bitcointalk forums back in 2011, and is still going pretty strong. Anonymous Ads is also one of the only good Pay-Per-Impression (CPM) Bitcoin ad networks out there. This is very good for both companies and publishers. It allows fair amount of targeting based on niches, and the websites themselves are tagged manually after an editorial review, so you can be sure that your ad is delivered to websites in specific areas only, such as Bitcoin and News. The site also provides a lot of network statistics that you can use to estimate costs. For publishers, anonymous ads pays out automatically as long as your daily balance is above 0.1mBTC. Anonymous ads network is recommended for smaller startups and services that dont have a ton of marketing budget, but still want to get enough brand recognition in the community. This is one the few mainstream ad networks that has a dedicated Bitcoin portal for advertisers, so they can reach out to the larger publishers. BuySellAds is recommended for more mainstream startups that have enough money to sp Continue reading >>

Google Bans Cryptocurrency Advertising, Bitcoin Price Slumps

Google Bans Cryptocurrency Advertising, Bitcoin Price Slumps

Google bans cryptocurrency advertising, bitcoin price slumps LONDON (Reuters) - Alphabet Incs ( GOOGL.O ) Google said on Wednesday it was banning advertisements for cryptocurrencies and initial coin offerings, the latest internet company to clamp down on the sector amid growing concerns about scams. Googles action, which takes effect in June and follows a similar move by Facebook earlier this year, sent the price of the best-known cryptocurrency, bitcoin, down more than 10 percent to its lowest in a month. Interest in cryptocurrencies has surged in the last year as their prices rocketed. That growth has spawned online advertising used by hundreds of companies trying to raise funds by launching new coins or encouraging people to trade the virtual currencies. Improving the ads experience across the web, whether thats removing harmful ads or intrusive ads, will continue to be a top priority for us, said Scott Spencer, director of sustainable ads at Google, on the companys official blog, The Keyword. Under the new policy, Google said it would ban ads for cryptocurrencies and related content such as initial coin offerings, crypto exchanges and cryptocurrency wallets and advertisements providing trading advice. In January, Facebook Inc ( FB.O ) said it would ban ads promoting financial products and services tied to cryptocurrencies and initial coin offerings because of the risks to users. Regulators across the globe have warned consumers about the risks of investing in crypto markets, but internet companies are introducing outright bans because they worry there is not currently sufficient protection for consumers. Why You Can't Advertise Icos, Bitcoin, Or Any Other Cryptocurrency Product On Facebook Anymore

Why You Can't Advertise Icos, Bitcoin, Or Any Other Cryptocurrency Product On Facebook Anymore

Why You Can't Advertise ICOs, Bitcoin, or Any Other Cryptocurrency Product on Facebook Anymore The ban includes both Facebook and Instagram. Facebook is banning all ads related to cryptocurrencies, from ICOs to bitcoin. The social network says the ban, which includes both Facebook and Instagram, is to crack down on scams. Cryptocurrencies are "frequently associated with misleading or deceptive practices," it said. The new rule "prohibits financial products and services that are frequently associated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices, such as binary options, initial coin offerings and cryptocurrency." It's a far-reaching policy, and Facebook describes it as "intentionally broad." (For the uninitiated, initial coin offerings, or ICOs, are a largely unregulated method for company fundraising that involves selling investors cryptographic assets, in a similar vein to an IPO.) Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are insanely hot right now -- but the space is also riddled with scams, fraud, and other risks. This week, the SEC shut down one allegedly fraudulent ICO that claimed to have raised $600 million , and it's not uncommon for exchanges to lose hundreds of millions of dollars worth of customer funds in apparent hacks . A Facebook spokesperson told Business Insider that the new rule bansallads related to cryptocurrencies -- not just those directly trying to sell cryptocurrencies or cryptographic tokens. So ads for Bitcoin wallets are also banned, for example, as are ones for Ethereum-mining hardware. In a blog post announcing the news, Facebook product management director Rob Leathern suggested Facebook may tweak the policy at some point in the future to let legitimate crypto-related businesses advertise again. "We want people to continue to discover and l Continue reading >>

Technology |Google Bans Bitcoin Advertisements in Policy Change Google Bans Bitcoin Advertisements in Policy Change Tokens representing Bitcoins virtual currency. Google said Tuesday that it would join Facebook in banning advertising for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on its services and advertising platforms. Credit Benoit Tessier/Reuters SAN FRANCISCO Google is joining Facebook in banning advertising for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Google, the largest provider of digital advertising on the internet, announced on Tuesday that it plans to change its advertising policy for certain financial services, including cryptocurrencies, starting in June. The new restriction would apply both to space on Googles platforms, like YouTube, and to third-party websites where Google sells advertising space. Facebook announced in January that it would ban all ads for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in order to stop misleading and deceptive promotions. Together, Google and Facebook account for the majority of advertising on the internet in terms of revenue. The short announcement on Googles advertising policies page did not specify why Google planned to turn away that advertising. The company said the ban also applied to content related to cryptocurrencies including but not limited to initial coin offerings, cryptocurrency exchanges, cryptocurrency wallets and cryptocurrency trading advice. The frenzy around Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies has raised concerns about scammers using online advertisements to recruit potential marks enticed by the surge in prices for most virtual currencies . Advertising for new virtual currencies exploded late last year when prices jumped. Continue reading >>

Top 7 Bitcoin Advertising Networks

Top 7 Bitcoin Advertising Networks

If you own a website and would like to start earning some bitcoins with its traffic, you might want to partner with a bitcoin advertising network instead of Google AdSense. These networks essentially serve ads on your website on behalf of advertisers that work with them, and will pay you once you reach a certain threshold. They can be a great way to earn a few bitcoins, while blogging about what you love. Here are some of the best ones (in no particular order): CoinURL lets users earn in two different ways: either through interstitial ads, or through banner ads. Interstitial ads allow users to monetize shortened links, which can be used in tweets and Facebook posts, as they appear when the user clicks the link. This can, however, be extremely annoying for some few users. Banner ads are displayed on your website, and allow you to earn in the popular PPC (Pay-Per-Click) system. The minimum withdrawal amount is 0.01 BTC. Recently, some people have been claiming the website stopped paying, we could not however confirm this. With AdBit , advertisers bid against each other for a share of a publishers ad space. Basically, as a publisher, you will give advertisers a small advertising space on your website, and will earn according to the amount being bidden if advertisers love your website you will earn more, and if they do not you may still earn a few satoshis for setting the ad space up. BitMedia allows publishers to display both text and banner ads, and has a minimum withdrawal amount of 0.01 BTC. The network can be seen as bitcoins version of Google AdSense, as it uses the effective PPC model and offers very high rates, as long as your website passes its strict approval criteria and has high-quality traffic. Mellow Ads is a veteran in the market, and it can help your websit Continue reading >>

Anything that enables dishonest behavior, such as hacking software, services to artificially inflate web or ad traffic, fake documents or academic cheating. Inappropriate content, like hate speech or ads that use profane language Source: As of June of this year, you can add one more: anything about cryptocurrencies like bitcoin. The prohibition is actually quite broad: Cryptocurrencies and related content (including but not limited to initial coin offerings, cryptocurrency exchanges, cryptocurrency wallets, and cryptocurrency trading advice). Frankly it is hard to blame Google, or Facebook (which put a similar ban into place recently), for the move given the level of fraud and deception in the space. The phrase Goat rodeo comes to mind except goats are, at least, cute. Bitcoins price has been hit on the news, and for good reason: its value correlates well with the growth in the number of wallets that store the crypto online.Less advertising for bitcoin-related services may slow new wallet growth, which has already declined from its peak last year. Its Not Just Bitcoin: Look At All The Stuff Facebook Wont Let You Advertise

Facebook has banned ads that feature bitcoin , ethereum, ICOs or anything else related to cryptocurrency while it tries to weed out scammers. But Facebooks crypto ban is just the latest kind of verboten ad on Facebook. There are 28 other kinds of Prohibited Content categories in Facebooks ad guidelines, and they range from the obvious no counterfeit documents , please to the unexpected if you want to use excessive symbols, characters or punctuation , in your ads, find another giant platform with more than two billion users. Heres a quick sampling of ads Facebook doesnt want, using text and images from Facebooks banned ads guidebook. But before we start, a reminder that Facebook has plenty of other ads it does accept. In the last three months of 2017 alone, it generated an estimated $12 billion in ad revenue. Cigarettes, fake cigarettes, hookahs and rolling papers. All bad. Marijuana is legal in Facebooks home state of California and other parts of the U.S., but its not welcome on Facebook. Neither are other drugs. Self-explanatory. But in case you were confused, Facebook has provided an example of a line you couldnt use: Cheap firearms: Buy now! Ads that promote family planning and contraception are okay. Ones that promote sexual pleasure are not. Okay: Practice safe sex with our brand of condoms. Not okay: Buy our sex toys for your adult pleasure. Attractive people who arent wearing a lot of clothes advertising exercise bikes or bed linens are okay. But other attractive people who arent wearing a lot of clothes are not. This image, for instance, shows artistic implied nudity. No good. This one shows a woman in a sexually suggestive pose. Banned. Nothing that features shocking, sensational, disrespectful or excessively violent content. Fair enough. Though you may be su Continue reading >>

For instance, DMM, bitFlyer and Coincheck and other Japan-based crypto entities have been using YouTube, Facebook and Instagram as well as television advertising. Ads from Coincheck and bitFlyer were aired on TV 819 times in Kanto region. Coincheck even admitted that they put more priority on attracting customers with advertisements than improving security. It has recommended that crypto organizations rethink their advertising campaigns. Although it admits that it is difficult that they are going to make sudden changes to long-term agreements they have already made. The Bitcoin Advertising Ecosystem In 2017

The Bitcoin Advertising Ecosystem In 2017

The Bitcoin Advertising Ecosystem in 2017 Disclosure: Jamie McCormick runs Bitcoin Marketing Team, of which Bitmedia.io is a client. The article was accepted on the merit of the content and neither Jamie, or CoinJournal have been compensated for this article being published. As the bitcoin and blockchain companies develop in a multitude of directions, many start-up and incumbent products and services have come and gone over the years. As with any niche, reaching the consumers in any corner of the market can be difficult, and bitcoin isnt exempt from this. It has become pretty standard for most bitcoin services to offer different types of affiliate programs for their customers to promote their services, and for those customers who do engage with these programs, these are often promoted through forum signatures, blogs, banners or text ads on websites across the space. Aside from these systems, a growing number of advertising platforms built around bitcoin have emerged to fill the niche of connecting bitcoin users to those trying to sell into the space. These range from single developer projects, often offering self-service advertising campaigns targeting different websites, faucets, forums and other sites, to full-blown advertising networks akin to those seen in other sectors. Some of the older platforms in the space such as coinurl, a-ads, coinads and others have been around for a couple of years, giving marketing managers in crypto companies a number of channels through which they can advertise to their audience of bitcoin fans visiting the websites that are publishers on these adnets. However, as someone who has used a range of these for various different bitcoin clients over the years, and before that for a decade in the videogames industry, many of these platforms l Continue reading >>

How To Advertise To Bitcoin Users ? - Bitcoin

How To Advertise To Bitcoin Users ? - Bitcoin

Buy ad space here in the Bitcoin subreddit. These 2 websites have the highest concentrations of bitcoin users. I think I read where Bitcoin subreddit ad space is totally booked deep into 2016 so that isn't an option. Bitcointalk.org they way they auction of adspace is odd and confusing unless things have changed. You do not need to pay to have an ad at Bitcointalk. Just write up a new thread in whatever section best describes your product or service, and this also immediately gives your company a review thread which allows you to interact with your customers. Additionally, while you are waiting to get approved for an ad in the Bitcoin subreddit, there are other longer tail bitcoin subreddits which do not have this waiting period. They have smaller subscriber bases, but you could probably get an ad going much sooner. What exactly are you trying to advertise, and what's your ballpark budget? Honestly, I personally don't have anything , but was planning on something I just don't know what yet. Then I became curious how would anyone go about selling anything here. Its disturbing this isn't the top of thread right now with many ideas. Because the people who know how to do it don't want to give everyone else their secrets. Others hire marketing firms to do this for them. Strange stuff. It only betters the whole Bitcoin economy if people help others market their services and products ,but that is just me.
